There is no tryout for our house league but we do not recommend this league for beginners.
We do attempt to keep boys from same school together while adhering to all OHSAA guidelines.

All games will have refs and score table operators.
HOW IT WORKS:
Our goal is to create competitive balance within the divisions. Players will be evaluated by the Jumpstart coaching staff and will be placed on a team based on skill level and position. No more than 8-9 players on a team to maximize playing time. This league is designed to give players an opportunity to develop their skills and play competitive games in a structured environment. Games consist of four 9 minute quarters, running clock until final minute of 4th quarter. All games will have refs and score table operators. All players will receive a reversible jersey that they will return at the end of the year.
PLAYER FEE FOR GAMES ONLY: $250
ADDITIONAL TRAINING PACKAGE WITH RBA: 10 sessions for $200.

Games (Saturdays, 2 games each day): March 7, 14, 21, 28
End of Season Tournament: April 4
5th/6th grade games will start at 9:00 AM.
7th/8th grade games will start at 1:00 PM.

Training with RBA is located at St. John's Jesuit High School in Toledo, OH.
GAME DAY ADMISSION COSTS:
$5 gate for adults spectators. $3 gate for students. Children under 5 are free. Bleachers and concessions will be available. Admission proceeds help support Perrysburg Heights Community Center programming.

We do not recommend this program for boys with zero experience.
Basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting are required.
Train and play is a program designed to give young student-athletes a positive environment to learn and grow as basketball players. We will do skill development drills that work on all areas of the game along with 3v3 and 4v4 small sided games to include in-game decision making. We will also do 5v5 controlled scrimmages at every session.
Training is led by founder and owner of Jumpstart Basketball, Alex Geisel and will include guest coaches from other area high schools throughout.
